Update Offers Protection Again Keylogger Dropped by Bugbear.B Virus (25.06.03)
- The new variant of the Bugbear worm virus, Bugbear.B, has been causing
significant problems to systems world-wide. Bugbear.B is an encrypted, network-aware mass mailing Win32
worm that drops a keylogger. The Keylogger determines whether the victim uses
an e-mail address that belonged to any of a number of financial institutions.
If so, it transmits passwords to 10 e-mail addresses.

PestPatrol
can now detect and safely remove the keylogger dropped by Bugbear.B, removing
a major threat to your privacy. Be sure you have the update by right-clicking on the pest patrol icon
in your system tray and selecting Update. To make
sure your PestPatrol is always updated, launch PestPatrol and under Options
(next to File) select Updates. You can then choose for PestPatrol to automatically look for updates
