This enterprise-level software helps organizations address compliance, security, audit, and privacy requirements by providing unprecedented visibility into how data assets are being used. Entegra 2.0 is a solution that lets enterprises monitor how data are accessed and modified, and by whom. It creates audit trails and reports to satisfy security and privacy regulations and operational requirements in health care, finance, biotechnology, and other industries. Entegra helps enterprises meet the requirements of Sarbanes-Oxley, HIPAA, FDA 21 CFR Part 11, EUDPA, and the USA Patriot Act, which oblige enterprises to protect information and provide records on data access. With this solution, companies can address strategic and regulatory pressures to understand who is doing what to the enterprise's databases and data.

Entegra extends Lumigent's proprietary technology for analyzing database transaction offered in the "Log Explorer" product line. This technology enables Entegra to provide continuous monitoring and auditing of database activity, including comprehensive auto-generated audit trails.

With Entegra 2.0, enterprises have the capability to monitor and audit data viewing activity, in addition to detecting changes to data and database structure. This helps enterprises validate and improve their data protection practices and comply with strict government regulations, and leads to increased accountability and reduced risk.

Entegra 2.0 provides an alternative to more traditional and less comprehensive means for data auditing, such as database triggers, which are expensive and difficult to create and manage, or costly and time-consuming application modifications. These other options cannot capture data viewing activity, often miss changes to database permissions and schema, do not account for direct database access (posing compliance risk), and impact database performance.

Entegra 2.0 uses non-trigger audit agents to collect and consolidate data access activity information from multiple servers. Storage of this information in a single, common repository enables easy management and provides the audit trail to meet mandates for data access accountability. A centralized, easy-to-use management console simplifies configuration of target servers for audit, including specifying types of database activities to be tracked.  Alerting capabilities enable faster resolution of problems, when events of interest are detected.

Lumigent Technologies' first product, Log Explorer, has received rave reviews for its value on the SQL Server platform. In fact, in a poll of 50,000 SQL Server administrators, Log Explorer was named the best product for SQL Server.  With Log Explorer for Oracle, Lumigent Technologies now offers a consistent interface for database transaction analysis and recovery across database platforms.
