AEP Networks' Netilla Security Platform "SSL VPN" Achieves Certification from VPNC

Comprehensive VPNC Testing Criteria Ensures Security, Support for Key Applications

(13.06.05) - AEP Networks announced that its "AEP Netilla Security Platform SSL VPN" has achieved certification from the Virtual Private Network Consortium (VPNC), an international trade association for VPN manufacturers.

VPNC's certification program involves extensive testing that mimics real-world experiences of SSL VPN users. The testing guarantees security, functionality and interoperability with business-critical applications, such as Microsoft Outlook Web Access. Certification also assures SSL VPN users that they can access applications remotely using the latest version of the Mozilla Firefox browser.

VPNC certified the AEP Netilla Security Platform's support for a broad range of SSL VPN features and included separate VPNC testing programs for Basic Interoperability, SSL Portal, SSL Exchange and SSL Firefox.
