Isaca Content Licensed for New Microsoft Guide Featuring Cobit and Val IT

Strong Governance over IT and IT-Related Investments is Critical to an Enterprise's Success

(14.07.09) - Isaca, a global association serving 86,000 IT governance, assurance and security professionals, has signed a license agreement with Microsoft Corp., enabling the company to use content from Cobit and Val IT, Isaca’s internationally accepted frameworks for achieving governance over and value from IT.

The content appears in a new Microsoft Corp. publication titled MOF to Cobit/Val IT Comparison and Cross-Implementation Guide: How to Leverage MOF in a Cobit/Val IT Environment, which is now available as a free download at www.microsoft.com/datagovernance.

Cobit, which helps executives and IT professionals direct their IT for optimal advantage, reduce IT-related risks and increase confidence in the information provided by IT, and Val IT, a tool set for unlocking the value of IT and managing IT-enabled business change, are available as free downloads at www.isaca.org/cobit and www.isaca.org/valit.
