More Flexible User Interface Tailoring, External Identity Repository Integrations and Automation for Federation Trust Networks

(19.05.11) - Ubisecure, a pioneering developer of standardized identity and access management software, has announced a new version of its "Ubilogin Single Sign-On" solution.

Ubilogin SSO provides authentication, access control and federation for intranet, extranet and web services. Authentication can be based on over 20 alternative mechanisms, including smart cards, SMS and printed one-time passwords.

The new Ubilogin SSO 6-series offers very feature-rich capabilities for tailoring user interfaces. Ubilogin SSO now supports a service discovery menu, allowing configuration of user-friendly service set-ups and an improved user experience. Instead of designing and coding own tailored user login pages, service providers and integrators can now set-up a standard login user-interface by configuration and still achieve a very tailored feeling and solution to customer-specific needs. This provides for faster development, cost efficiency, better security, leaving no room for coding errors.

Ubilogin SS0 6-series also includes a completely new framework for external identity repository integrations. It provides a plug-in interface for integrating user databases, including Active Directory, LDAP and SQL. With Ubilogin SSO 6-series, SQL is now as easy to integrate with Ubilogin SSO as LDAP and Active Directory have been.

Ubilogin SSO 6-series also provides tools for many advanced integrations functionalities. For instance, user data such as roles and attributes can be read at the same time as the user authenticates, and provided to the application, leading to more feature-rich application integrations and improved application level functionalities with usability improvements.

For trust relationships management in large-scale federations, such as the Virtu and Haka federations in Finland, Ubilogin SS0 6-series also brings Metadata Updater, which automates the SAML-metadata update process which otherwise, if handled by manual process, is a big management hassle and a serious security issue.
